Do I need Excel?

No. The calculator is a file that opens in your browser. The CSV logs import into Google Sheets or Excel if you want a record.

Does it work on a phone?

Yes. Copy the Quote Desk folder to the phone and open it in Safari (iPhone) or Chrome (Android). You can add it to your home screen for quicker access. It is not an App Store app. After the file is on the phone, it works without internet.

Does it send my jobs to you?

No. Quote Desk stays on your device and does not send us your job information. Etsy and Gumroad process the purchase, and support emails go through your email provider, but those services are separate from the calculator.

Is this Jobber or Housecall Pro?

No. It does not book jobs, take cards, or track GPS. Estimating and paperwork only.

Will this get me customers?

No. It prices jobs you already have a chance to quote.

Can ChatGPT do this?

Chat tools can help with one-off calculations. Quote Desk gives you a repeatable estimating workflow that uses the same inputs and rules every time, including with no signal. It is not a database of other contractors' bids.

Does it work in every state?

Yes. Any U.S. ZIP code. That sets a state wage default, not the going rate on that street. Override the wage if you already know what you pay.

Can I share the download with another company?

The license covers one business.

Sales tax

The store may calculate and collect applicable sales tax at checkout.
